There was a Book Signing on December 8, 2018. Their mother is incarcerated and this is their story. This journal will make Mahiya and Cabren stronger young ladies.
...They talked about their visits, phone calls and the letters they share with their mom. Mahiya spoke about how uncomfortable she was discussing her mom with others. She said they were teased at school when their mom first went to prison. I promised them I would continue to stay in touch and was very happy they were in my life. - Dr. Robin Bell
