Dr. Robin and Terry Bell, along with the R4 Board of Directors, proudly presented the recipients of the 2025 R4 Essay Scholarship with their $3,000 awards. These outstanding college-bound seniors have demonstrated resilience and determination despite being impacted by incarceration.
The scholarships recognize their academic achievements, perseverance, and commitment to breaking the cycle of incarceration through higher education.
R4 is honored to invest in these future leaders and wish each recipient continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey.
Kalaijah Baker
Kalaijah will be attending Barry University in Miami Shores, Fl for the 2026 Fall Semester, where she will be majoring in Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
Lovelle Thompson
Lovelle will be attending Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, FL for the 2026 Fall Semester, where she will be majoring in Cosmetology.
Miell Moore-Taliaferro
Miell will be attending Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA for the 2026 Fall Semester, where she will be majoring in Sociology.
Keyshaun Witcher
Keyshaun will be attending Emory & Henry University in Emory, VA for the 2026 Fall Semester, where he will be majoring in Marketing.
