From FY 2022-2023, R4 partnered with the DC Department of Corrections to provide support to returning citizens as they were navigating reentry. Many of the returning citizens wanted to express their gratitude for the work R4 did to support them!

I just want to say thank you for believing in me and the guys that are still succeeding from your help. To the program and Roger and the other members of the program I send my love everyday."

I was incarcerated for 19 years and had very little hope that I would be able to get out and have a meaningful life. I received a phone call from Dr. Bell. I could not believe that someone was going to give me another chance at life. Dr. Bell is always there for any of us when we need her. I would have never thought someone who wears so many hats would be so involved in ex-con’s day to day lives. Dr. Bell, her staff and the Program is one of a kind and I will always be thankful for them giving me another chance at life."
